You can now apply to host your own event on the eve of Progress 2017.

What is Progress X?

Progress X is a series of side events of Progress 2017, being held for the first time this year on Monday 5th June at Melbourne Town Hall and other premier venues in the Melbourne CBD.

The Progress X agenda will be full of independently organised practical workshops, full-day short courses, project launches, sector-themed catch-ups, and internal staff and board meetings of our partner organisations. Some events will be open to Progress 2017 ticket holders, some will be ticketed separately and others will be by invitation only.

In the past, many organisations have taken advantage of their time together in Melbourne, independently planning events to dovetail the Progress program. This year we’ve decided to formalise these side events as part of the official Progress X agenda.

What are the benefits of hosting an event at Progress X?

Progress X gives your organisation the opportunity to bring people together on the eve of the landmark Progress conference to workshop, plan and discuss ideas specific to your organisation or sector. Be it an internal board meeting, a gathering of organisations working in a similar space, or a workshop designed to share skills across sectors, Progress X is about fostering creative thinking and big ideas away from the typical office environment.

How do I apply to host an event at Progress X?

Applications are open and will be assessed on a rolling basis. As the agenda will be limited to the number of venues we have available, please get in quick to avoid missing out.
