Video workshop with Digital Storytellers
1.00pm – 5.00pm Monday 5th June
In this four hour workshop, the purpose-driven film-making agency, Digital Storytellers, will teach you how to “find,” and “make” your own video story for social change. While there is a time and a place for professional high end productions, you or your team can also create digital stories on your own mobile phone or DSLR camera, thus keeping your advocates and audiences engaged and sharing your message.
Bring along your own device or camera and expect to learn the practical basics you need to get started with mobile video productions, and help make ‘Progress’ visible for you, your cause and the greater movement of progressive change here in Australia. For those with previous experience in mobile film-making, this workshop will reveal the Digital Storytellers process in storytelling that you’ll be able to use in your own productions immediately.
Who will benefit?
This hands-on workshop has been designed for campaigners and campaign managers, social media producers and purpose-driven digital producers and organisers, as well as those needing DIY production tools and ‘story thinking’.
